Recently went to see Kenny G play and because of covid, it was set up a little differently, but everything was amazing. The food, the ambience, the staff, and of course the music was all so amazing. Will definitely be coming back again someday.

Wow. Great food and concert venue. Brian McNight and Damien Escobar. Not at same time just same show venue

Almost every seat in the house is good. I had the pleasure of listening to Norman brown do his Christmas show. The drinks were good but a little on the high end, but i had a great time.

Super cool and intimate outdoor venue (and indoor). Beautiful views, intimate and great sound.

We went as a group of six and had a fantastic time. Everything served was delicious from the coffee to the wine down to the dessert. Our waiter was fantastic, personable, continually looking in on us and rolled along with our goofy group perfectly. The band was also great as well as the dimmed lights and decor. My only complaint is since it was the middle of the week, the place was not full and therefore the sound/volume of the band did not get drown out. It was TOO LOUD. Deafening actually. We left at intermission. Our ears physically hurt by the last song. Other than this, I would gladly recommend coming here for great entertainment.

First time to the Blue Notes end of March to see Morgan James, she’s an excellent singer. This place is nice and I really enjoyed myself. I ordered the combination set up they had of soup or salad (I got the salad), steak and a moose dessert. The salad was nothing to talk about, nice size, plain but I guess the dressing they used was a bit to acidy for me so I didn’t like it. The steak was small in portion but nicely cut and excellent. The moose dessert was also excellent to me.
Drinks and meal can be a bit pricey but the atmosphere was very nice and the entertainment was awesome.
You don’t have to eat, you can just watch the show but for me its one of those places you can’t think to much about the money just be prepared, sit, drink, eat and have a good time.
Would go again, just depends on who’s playing, they have an upstairs and a downstairs so they can do two different events at the same time. Anyway I had a good time, they get the 5 stars mainly for having Morgan James who I enjoy watching very much.

This venue is great. It has a intimate setting similar to a old school speakeasy. If you enjoyed concerts at Kimball’s in Emeryville before it closed you’ll love this setting. It’s smaller than Yoshi’s or Kimball’s but has the same premise, food, drinks and live entertainment. A big plus is concert tickets are affordable and it’s located in a safe and relaxing area surrounded by eateries and shops. A great location in Napa.

KENNY G 2 tickets purchased two months ago can not be used. New 14 day restrictions for Covive sent to me 2 days befove the New Years event. This can not be good for the Blue Note, Napa, Ca.

We had a great experience there; it’s pretty crowded, but maybe that’s just the way it goes.

This place was outstanding. The customer service was far above par even for Napa. The blue lightning takes a little time for your eyes to adjust but once they do it its spectacular. The decor and interior design of this small well laid out space is genius. The entertainment was a band called Royal Jelly Jive and this was one of the best shows I have ever witnessed and it only cost me ten bucks The singer head the voice of an Angel and the band wove the musical notes together like an Egyptian tapestry #unbelievable
The doorman / promoter was friendly and very knowledgeable about up-and-coming promotions. The manager was super friendly with no ego and very welcoming. There was no one walking around with small man syndrome and there were more than enough beautiful women to go around. I highly recommend this place. The food and drinks were fabulous I will definitely be back. And no no one is paying me to say all of this I keep it real.

This is a great venue for a good night out and you definitely can’t go wrong for a date night! The atmosphere is lovely!

Wait staff friendly, but the sound was mixed terribly. Even if the back rows the highs were biting.

The food….is Napa prices… but if you can share appetizers, etc.. It’s not so bad. The place is small, but that’s what you want when you are watching great Jazz artists.

Intimate setting, easy access, wine, munchies, Taj Mahal stomping out a dozen or so songs, Fantastic Date Night!

It was super sucks it’s not really worth it, don’t spend your money on it. It is really bad

Fabulous! Had seats at the bar, view to the stage was excellent. Service was good.

Great food! Awesome bartender, and the atmosphere was relaxed. A wonderful jazz venue!

There is no better place to have an incredible music + wine experience in Napa. The intimate venue’s decor was classy yet welcoming, and my five senses felt immersed in the scenery. The musicians performing made the most of the venue’s size to have a real interactive experience with the audience, not to mention their incredible songs and improvisational jazz skills. The staff was extremely friendly (who wouldn’t be happy when you get to jam out at work). I could have thrown a dart at the menu and been satisfied, the food was superb. Highly recommend to anyone in the Napa Valley.

Place was amazing. I have to say the Bar staff is one of the best I have ever experienced. I have been to a lot of venues and bars. Their attentiveness and customer care, as well as interaction, was 5 star. The venue is small and quaint / up close and personal. Would and will go back for many years to come. Great experience all around.

Memorable lively music for listening, or dancing, plus expertly mixed spirits and drinks.

Great venue for live music. Bar seating, tables and booths are all available with full service from bar and restaurant. The food was sort of hit or miss (the burger was on point, the brussels sprouts were killer, the chicken breast was dinky and dry AF). If you want to dance, you’re kinda screwed as the area in front of the stage is for seated guests, so you have to try to find your happy place off to the side of stage right. The night we were there, band was immediately accessible after the show for meet and greet, which was cool. All in all, a pretty intimate experience.
Michael Schackwitz ( (5 / 5))
Intimate venue for music. Good sound quality, but a couple times we have had problems where the mixing was off for the first few songs (vocals got lost, for instance). Food is tasty but pricey. We like to get the bar seats, show up early as it’s first-come-first-seated, and then nurse a drink and appetizer through the show.

What a unique, fun spot in the heart of downtown Napa! My family and I went for one of their weekend blues shows and it was incredible.
While we opted to dine elsewhere before the show, I did glance at the food at other tables and it looked delicious. Cocktails were creative and fun!

It was our first visit to this Blue Note Club in Napa to see the very gifted and talented Kim Waters. We loved going to Blue Note venues as part of our Love for Jazz Travel Experience. The venue decor is exactly what you would expect for an intimate Jazz Club setting. The multiple columnar brass instruments display is amazing. The backdrop of the club bar has it’s own drumsticks collage. The menu offers a variety of tasteful appetizers. We ordered the cheese board, Cesar salad, and short ribs nachos, they were all very tasteful. Their bar selection is exceptional and their Sazerac was quite a surprise, smooth and well balanced. Let’s not forget Kim Waters, what a show! We have now added this Blue Note Club to our yearly Love for Jazz Travel Trips.

Wow!!! Blue Note seating incredible!!! Rick Brain was even better! The man is incredible!!! The venue itself offers good food although the portions are very small and prices are high, expect at minimum for a 2 course meal to fork over $50 per person not including drinks. Parking is about 1/2 block away don’t know the price because I took Lyft to the set which ran between $5-7 (not including tip, and depending on how far you are from the Venue—I was less than a mile away )—Attire is dressy casual…Evening gowns not required.

If you have a chance to go to The Blue Note for a band you even remotely like, do it. You will not be disappointed. It’s insane how close you are no matter where you sit. They have an excellent sound system as well that is pretty well dialed into the space so you won’t leave with your ears ringing. Also the bar has a pretty solid selection and the people that work there are very friendly. You pretty much can’t lose.

Great venue for live music. Food and drinks a trifle expensive, service adequate.
Nadine McMillon ( (5 / 5))
I saw Brian Culbertson with my beau on 12/30/16. The show was FABULOUS! Brian is just about incomparable! The venue is really nice with lots of ambiance. However, I would recommend a menu change, which I’m sure is an easy fix. I hesitate to make that comment, but I would be remiss if I didn’t. Tighten up the menu and the Blue Note would be PERFECT. The staff, Gary at the door, the hostess, and the waiters are first rate! I did not approach the bar, so I cannot review the bar staff. I look forward to experiencing my next show at the Blue Note. 🙂
